This is going to be a good weekend. My girlfriend, who now lives in Arkansas, is on her way in to spend the weekend with me. Her two daughters are bringing her. We met in the 3rd grade and lived right around the corner from each other. From grade school in Dallas (John F. Peeler) we went on to Adamson High School and after graduation we both went to Kilgore Jr College to try out for the Rangerettes and both of us made it. Her two daughters Paula and Terrie use to play with my daughter, Sue Ann when they were 6 and 7. So our daughters will get together and share old times as well as my good friend, Joan Coleman. For those who have been in Dallas most of their lives, she was married to Ralph Coleman who use to broadcast on Channel 11 TV. Ralph is now deceased. Tomorrow, we will be going to El Fenix in Oak Cliff for our high school get together. We meet 4xyear and keep up with all those we graduated with. Now who can say they do that? Oh by the way, hubby, John, also remembers the good old days. Yes, he also went to the same grade school and high school. Guess you could call this a good old reunion. Oh Boy!
