This is horrible - I hate Facebook. I saw a message from somebody a couple of days ago and now I cant find it. So Claus, in Denmark, if you read this... post again? And sorry. ...I cant work out why I keep liking things when Im just trying to open them to look at them, and then cant get Back without doing some other damn thing. Or deleting/rejecting requests that were unclear and bizarre to begin with. Ive discovered theres actually a Facebook page devoted to to petitioning Facebook to return to how it was in the bloody 90s, which is the last time the interface made even the vaguest sense. No wonder so few of my publicists Visit - oh bizarre 19th Century phrase - my page. Having encouraged me to open it they are getting on with their proper jobs, in the elegant tradition of Publishing Books Well. I am Not a weird old woman who cant use machinery. I have been known to resolve computer glitches beyond the turning it on and off again technique. I am excellent at dealing with the various hurdles of the day to day. Tetra pacs are nothing to me. If there were a league table for logical functioning without fuss in the modern world, Id be solidly placed in the upper third. But Facebook is horrific. Just horrific. Its so awful, in fact, that just now, the idea of embarking upon page 12 of my new book, as yet an almost empty universe that must be reinvented each morning from scratch, now, at almost lunchtime on a wednesday, when I havent been able to Get to it all week, because of Other Bloody Stuff, is now looking like a really appealing prospect. So, Claus in Denmark... ?
