This is horrible and insensitive. I would like my friends in International media take note of this incidence. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Arti Puri, a very known TV actor and has done films was shooting for HMV Saregama, Antakshri with Anu Kapoor. She was ready with her make up and was waiting in her vanity van for her shot. As she walked out of the Vanity when called, the faulty door of vanitys washroom banged and unfortunately Artis finger came between the door and was totally slashed, removed from the body. The door had no stopper and had knife like edges. The slashed finger tip was lieing on the floor and Arti Puri as she told me could not even scream out of pain, Her Saree got drenched in pool of blood and she fell inside the bus. Her make up artist lifted her and the next thing they were doing finding the slashed finger in the bus. She rushed to hospital with blood drenched clothes but to her horror not a single person from the production assisted her reaching hospital. She had to call her sister to take her to hospital who was fortunately near the place they were shooting. By now Arti has spent around 4 - 5 lacs on her finger. She has got infection, her career is at stake and the big big production house not paid her a single rupee for the medical expense. Moreover, that production house is shooting with someone else. This incident happened in February and Arti is running pillar to post for treatment. Till date the producers of the show have neither asked, called or inquired about it.
