This is how I view Marines. Their blood flows for their Country. Their Honor is part of everything they are. Their Duty is unmatched. The EGA, earned never given. Pride is something every Marine has from day one. Marines are misunderstood by most because they never walk the footsteps. Our Country is safe because of your undying love for everything you hold sacred. Marines are the elite. Only a few will ever own that title. Youre Mission is to provide protection to our Nation and you will do so with no question. I thank God for Marines, because your Honor, Duty and Service for our Country keeps us safe at night. Marines are the first in, they have no fear. Youre all among this countries greatest fighting force and no fighting force can ever match your strength. You are feared for a reason, because defeat is nothing you will ever know. You are the Few, the Proud for a reason. Happy Birthday Brothers and Sisters! For 239 years Marines have been prepared to give everything to insure this Country is protected. This is why it is said once a Marine always a Marine.
