This is how I woke up this morning: First, I had the luxury of sleeping in until 7:30 a.m. I was so cozy in bed snuggled up to my cat, Myrtle. Tim got up a little earlier and fed the dogs (bless his heart). When he came to check on me, he broke the news of no coffee in this house by saying, someone should have said last night there was no coffee in the house. I instantly began pleading to him, Please, please, please go buy us some coffee. I have to go somewhere important this morning, and I cant have a no-caffeine headache! He reluctantly, but sweetly, agreed to go buy us some coffee. I snuggled back in bed with Myrtle, thinking I could get a few extra minutes of sleep. Immediately, though, I heard that familiar sound of a cat about to puke. I opened one eye to look. Sure enough, there is Myrtle in the cat about to vomit position. I tried to move her off the bed, but to no avail. She threw up all over my arm, the bed, the floor. A horrible way to wake up -- no coffee, cat puke. I sure hope my day gets better.
