This is how it looks like outside right now. Looks like were having more of these white stuff for the next couple of days. Looks beautiful, but only for a while. When you start getting cold, and your toes and ears and hands start freezing and getting numb, and you have to keep wearing layers and layers of clothes under a bulky winter coat/jacket just to get outside, it gets annoying, unbearable and painful, too, after some time. So if you have any OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) relatives who work in areas where theres lots of snow, please think twice when asking them for unnecessary pasalubong or padala. Believe me, they still try their best to go to work and work double/triple/quadruple efforts just to fill that balikbayan box. Or if they dont go to work on snow days, they dont even get paid at all so they had to work extra hours when not snowing just to get that O.T. pay. In cold, cold times like these, it may be easy to hide the pain with a smiling face under that winter hat/hood, but its never easy to shun away the pain of being thousands of miles away from your family. For that, mabuhay ang migranteng nakikibaka sa ibayong dagat!
