This is just a FYI for house seekers like myself. There have been a glut of properties and land available for purchase for little to nothing and I have checked the city of Detroit website to see if they are going to schedule the auction in the near future. I believe they are held in the Autumn around Oct. There is nothing noted as of yet. I hope that someone I know has an opportunity to invest and continue to invest in the future of Detroit.
