This is just pure madness, the government, terrified by the astounding success of the boycott, seeing the empty polls as a verdict against the current military coup, is threatening to fine those who do not cast their votes! an empty threat of course as such a fine cannot be collected until the results are out, and a new president, no matter how big an idiot he is, will not want to start his term by collecting 500 pounds from 45 million egyptians only for staying home. If they refuse, he will have to build a prison as big as the country itself!
