This is me....my whole life...until IF:Gathering last year. The back row was very comfy, I didnt have to worry about anyone saying anything or thinking anything bad about me. I could just hide all of my passions, all of my gifts, all of my strengths under my chair, because then there would be no way anyone would know my weaknesses, right? If I didnt move out of my comfort zone, there would be no way I would fall on my face in failure, and there would be no way anyone would criticize what I was saying or doing. Now here we are just weeks from If:Gathering 2015 in our very own town and I would be lying if I said I didnt care what you all think, or if many people will sign up and come, or what people might be saying about me and the rest of us planning this whole thing in Spring Hill, or if anybody even cares. But the truth is, we are doing it for Gods glory, we are doing it because God placed it in our hearts and we dont want to sit on the back row in our comfy seats anymore. We want to be used by God, to use the gifts and the passions he gave us, even if this means some people may think weird or mean things about us, or if some people may disagree with what we are saying or doing. We are doing it because if it even changes one heart the way it did ours, then it is worth it. We invite each of you to come and see what its all about....we invite each of you to be changed the way we were changed after last years IF:Gathering, and to get out of that comfy back row, bring your gifts and strengths and passions out of hiding and use them as God would have you for his glory.
