This is mental health month. With the latest news of P.T.S.D. cannabis treatment emerging. One might wonder, are other mental diseases going to be backed by medical mj doctors. Until now our govt. has not recognized post traumatic stress disorder as a condition treatable with marijuana. This has left our veterans both former and current to fend for themselves. Is that really the message we want to give. You can go die for us but if you get caught treating yourself with cannabis you will be treated as a criminal. I began caregiving to provide for my dying great uncle. A former Korean veteran, he suffered from severe lung problems. The medicine I was growing for him was siezed regardless of my licensing. He passed away a short time later. The man served several tours, and died before his own nephew could give him medical marijuana treatment. We need to do more for our troops.
