This is my 1/48th scale Bf109F-4 in Regia Aeronautica markings. I do need to correct the numbers on the side of the fuselage to make them a better match with the rest of the whites. At the time of this build they were teh only decals I had of the numbers I needed and they had yellowed a bit. I think I have a good set now just havent had time to correct the problem. Other than that this build came out super well. Wish you could see the cockpit, it has a lot of work in it. Also opened up the canopy sliding window. Added a lot of resin and photoetch details along with a bit of scratchbuilding. The colors and weathering (including that heavy exhaust stain, the other side was normal, must have had an engine issue)) are taken directly from color photos of the real plane during the war. Hope you like it.
