This is my country and I love it but we have one heck of a mess to clean up. This is no longer the promise land, the land of opportunity no longer exists. We have a growing number of American citizens homeless living on our streets, not knowing where their next meal will come from. We have homeless Veterans, families and children that need our help but instead we turn a blind eye to them. We have teenage boys and girls prostituting themselves just to survive. Daily across the country we have murders, rapes, kidnappings, robberies, and other crimes that result in injuries or financial destruction. Crack houses have become more common than Coffee Shops. Our education system no longer teaches our children to think for themselves. Problem solving is no longer a matter of using common sense, its knowing the correct formula to punch into a calculator. Our country is trillions of dollars in debt and our dollar has no real value. We have millions of American citizens who hold college degrees that are unemployed and cant find work. We watch our friends and family die due to poor medical care or a complete lack of medical treatment. We have very few police officers who truly serve and protect, there are some good ones but how do you know which ones you can depend on. Our laws are bent and twisted to serve the rich and powerful. Our government has become a ticking time bomb just waiting to blowup and destroy the whole country. Our military are treated worse than inmates in prison and our veteran are treated even worse. How can this happen in America? How could anyone in their right mind send children into this country alone and illegally? The only chance these children have here is in becoming a victim of what this country has become. Before we attempt to save the world we have to mend ourselves. We need to get Americans working again. We need a government that actually works for the people. We need to educate our children in the basics and free thinking abilities so they can solve problems for themselves. We need the peace of mind in knowing our children are safe playing outside again. We all need to feel secure in our own homes. We shouldnt be afraid. The most important thing is we shouldnt allow anyone to turn us away from GOD. Nothing good can come without GODs love, understanding, comfort and strength. We arent strong enough to fix our country or even our lives without GOD.
