This is my dear Godfather and Uncle John who I was blessed to be able to get a ride on the blimp, his lifelong wish. He passed away last week and was buried with his Goodyear blimp pin on his lapel. I think its fitting that the blimp he rode on is now retired and has taken its last flight. I only wish he had been able to see the new NT in the skies, but Im confident hell see it fly from his vantage point above.
