This is my invention for the day 3/27/2006. As you can see- I have used a stainless steel bold and pinned the PVC tube at the left end.. the circuit will be broken on the black wire- negative wire with a Glass mercury switch that has been placed into the PVC tube and has been removed from an old HVAC thermostat and then the PVC is then filled with styrofoam. The mercury level switch as the PVC pipe raises if water is in the bilge- will lift and turn the pump on and pump the water out of the bildge. I silver soldreed all the connections. This switch is very sensative. This is a bildge pump that removed the water from the bildge of the boat. All boats have a bildge pump or should. You can actaully have two pumps - just in case one over time fails.
