This is my little Dadson. Im a first time GCC parent. I have had him since August and he is 9 months old now. I am a priest, living alone, so I live and work in the same place which enables him to be out of his cage virtually all day. Our staff love him and our two little dogs have taken nicely to him and vice versa. I have had no issues with aggression and he is handled quite often. My question has to do with sleeping. I have one cage for him and it is in the main room of the rectory. I have a couple of play stands in the offices as he travels about the house with me. I know they require some good sleep every night and I usually put him to bed around 10 and uncover him around 7:30-8 in the morning. Due to the fact his cage is in the living room and I tend to have company late (11:30-12) most nights would you suggest I place another cage in a room upstairs to sleep in? I do not notice any issue with him now due to a lack of sleep. I never hear him cry out after I cover him and I have never heard him squeak to wake me up. Im tempted to just let him be where he is as I believe if something is not broke, why fix it. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance. I just love him so much and want him as comfortable as possible. Great page by the way.
