This is my new little rescue hog, unknown age. Really huffy but sweet once shes out. They got her from Someone who didnt want her and they realized she wasnt friendly...her nails are extremely long and curled over. Ive got 2 nails cut :/ very slow process with her it seems like Its going to be. I picked her up yesterday and after 30 minutes she came out, when we got home she had a oatmeal bath as she had extremely dry skin and she had to be bathed as she anointed with poop of some sort. Neither picture shows much of her nails but they are extremely curled, some are curled twice around. Ive only got 2 cut due to the fight it was to get that. Her back foot 2 nails have broken off. Shes been fed weight management whiskas cat food, which isnt a healthy kibble from whats in it. Shes going to be a project to tame but I know about hedgehogs and Im not scared of being spiked...they used garden gloves. Needs diet change, lots of love and nails to be cut back a lot. Hedgies in good hands now though :)
