This is my opinion, not up for debate, and will be the only time I speak/write on the subject. My heart is heavy for community business owners that had nothing to do with the decision or the initial altercation that have had their lifes work and ambitions literally go up in flames. There is right and wrong, and when you intentionally inflict pain, damage and violence, you lessen the impact of your statement. I dont purport to be a black man in this society or know what its like. I do know, however, that the businesses in that area employ its local members, who now have no job or income. The media is doing everything possible to sensationlize this unfortunate situation by constantly stirring the pot. I can only offer the hope that the change that is inevitable will be good and the future will bring more hope and understanding.
