This is not the place to post this.. just feel i may get some closure getting my question answered. thurs night i received a call that my little sister had passed away. drove to her house... hour and a half later the coroner came. i walked in the house and didnt realize she was still there. Ambulance and fire were gone. My young niece and nephew were standing there staring at my sister distraught. Her face was uncovered... tube in her mouth... legs.feet... arms and hands showing. I got the kids out.. covered her up. Im 55 and that is causing me trauma... so will it do to the kids. Am I too emotionally close... or is it the responsibility of the sheriff or the emts to cover a body after someone passes... at least out of respect... the iv.. gloves... everything is just thrown next to the body and left..(maybe for the coroner... i dont know)..I personally think its a disrespectful way to leave grieving children alone...a small act of thoughfulness could save these kids alot of therapy. I cant get it out of my head.3 days ago a neighbors dog jumped the fence.. viciously attacked a cat and broke its spine.. horrible to witness... i put the animal away waiting for humane soc officer... state law that we all need to change.. if a animal attacks.. and makes it back to thier yard... nothing they can do. sorry for all this.. but these are incidents... and a few good answers would really help me... 30 min ago i went for a walk in jamestown.. i see a house catching on fire.. it had just started... tied my dogs.. broke the gate of the hinges trying to get a hose... yelling for animals or people...911 had already been called... it was 1 block from jamestown fire dept. it burned for a good 10 min.. flames reaching a 100 ft tall...the police show up... slowly walk up.. yell in the door... no attempt to get in to check for animals...then 4-5 trucks show up. what is going on... i would hate to need medical care 1 min from help.. and by the time they get there its too late. I apologize if i seem critical... there have been so many other incidents i have been involved in... im losing faith in tuolumne county employees. Im one of those proactive people that always helps... i patrol my neighborhood on my walks.. work on keeping it safe.. i will help anyone. I wish i felt like there is help when we need it. every single officer i have come in contact with.. wont even make eye contact.. try to talk to them and they act like you have done something wrong... but i would like to compliment the chaplin from tuolumne co sheriffs dept... he was so amazing ... i cant say enough good things about him...and the plain clothed sheriff that was also at my sisters.... but they are the only two.your comments will help me good or bad... so i can learn from this...and I know you will need to delete this steve baker. But thank you for this site... its good for the citizens of tuolumne county.
