This is one of a new series of videos put out with the specific intention of bringing folks with a Conservative ideology back to the position that science is a good thing. The creator says this is the position that used to be espoused by people who called themselves Conservatives. I might quibble that it was only some who did, and that the current anti-science crusade that is being waged by a lot of self-identified Conservatives has deep roots in the movement. That said, I think that anything that can be done to bring Conservatives back to the table of discussions based on actual evidence is a good thing. I suspect this gentleman will get a lot of flak for his positions. I support his work, even if it is in the service of an ideology with which I have serious problems.
