This is one of the lovely Schist villages called Gondramaz, located above Miranda do Corvo on the Serra da Lousa. A wonderful place to visit. The Schist Villages Network is essentially a sustainable development project, led by ADXTUR (Agency for Tourism Development Villages Shale ), developed in collaboration between several municipalities and private entities, aimed at promoting tourism in this area, creating wealth through the provision of tourist services in conjunction with the preservation of culture and landscapes, the dynamics of arts and crafts traditional, heritage and distinctive local products of the villages that make up the network. The Schist Villages Network is a project of unique characteristics related to cultural heritage evident in the region, social and architectural, which provides supply at various levels: traditional hospitality , gastronomy , culture , nature , extreme activities , entertainment, religion and crafts, etc. It has a nice restaurant called Patio do Xisto.
