This is one of the reasons why I dont read the local papers. Really? Nothing better to publish? So this is defined as newsworthy? No offense. What am I saying... sorry, pardon me for my ignorance, let me take that back, I forgot that this papers USP is this kind of stories. My bad. Lets look at this at a different angle, we have business people, we have celebrities, we have socialites. Pretty much qualifies for entertainment news - post-party with nice photos. Could throw in a little fashion show (cliche a little, or a lot), then having the birthday girl do a little Magic Babe Ning, and tada... its fashion with a twist. Oh yes, there should also be a charitable cause, like every drink a dollar would be donated to some charity organisation. Or, dollar for dollar matching? Then from shameless, shed become philanthropist. But seriously, its a 40k birthday bash. Not 400k, not 4 million. Which event doesnt require that amount if you include the cost of venue? #justsaying #somethingthattickledmyfunnybonetoday
