This is one of those moments that I will always remember where I was when I looked up onto the TV screen at a NM hospital and saw the words, Robin Williams has died.... Pow Robin and I where in the same acting class at the College of Marin and were in some weird play together as I remember .. Back on those days in Marin, we all went to the same places!!!! Uncle Charlies, the Old Mill, Sweetwater, the brothers, Black Oak Saloon and that place on Sausalito that had turtle races ... Fun fun fun A little time passed and I was in this business that I do! I got a call from Slatter productions. George Slattler did the original laugh In and he wanted to do a remake but with Bay Area talent I was asked to design the set at the Great American Music Hall....cool gig huh! Any way, ducks breath mystery theatre and local talent where rehearsing when in walks Robin Williams , ad-libbing about everything that crossed his sight (I never forgot that moment either) everyone in that theatre at that moment witnessed a fresh new Star being born! Life is made of rare moments and Robin presented me with two! Thank you
