This is one of those shared rumors that makes us want to pound our head on the table. Did Pepsi take the words "under God" off their can? FALSE. First of all.... it was Dr Pepper that did a patriot can not Pepsi. Secondly... the can was designed right after 9/11 and was only around for a couple of months. And thirdly... Dr. Pepper did not print the whole pledge on the can, just 3 words "One Nation Indivisible"... so they in fact did not leave out those words either. Why after almost 12 years.... is this rumor still around? Please tell Uncle Buck to stop sharing this one.
