This is our future, this is the direction our politicians are taking us. Is this what we want for our fellow Australians? This is what the benefits cuts have bought to Britain, this particular foodbank has feed 1 million this year! Britains poor are starving , the cuts to benefits, disability cuts deeming the most severely disabled fit for work (Atos) (30,600 dead in the last 4 yrs since the cuts) 90,000 children homeless this xmas and many more families, bedroom tax causing evictions all over the country, corporations taking over council houses supported by MPs who have invested and then kicking the tennants out. Sanctions for missing an appt, no leeway even if you are in hospital, just cut off for up to 6 mths. People on chemo treatment benefits removed and told the are fit for work, result chemo cancelled and the person died, return serviceman dies from being unable to keep the power on, he was diabetic, his insulin was in the fridge no good, he was found with an empty stomach as he hadnt eaten for 3 weeks and died from an insulin hypo from not being able to have it, heart patients lying in hospital deemed fit for work just before open heart surgery, and the list goes on and on. People being sacked from good paying jobs in all sorts of business and industry to make way for Work Fare ( work for the dole) to fill the same positions 40 hrs a week at 73 pound. Not even enough to live on, yet if they fail to go they get cut off totally, child payments reduced, independant living fund under threat and next year the conservatives want to cut a further 12billion from the welfare budget. This organisation was threatened not to go public with the dire situation caused by the cuts to low income and welfare recipients, the govt threatened to cut their funding too. A return of Drs reporting Scabies, Ricketts and Malnutrition in Britain. over 4 million in trouble and many low paid workers are having to rely on foodbank too as they cannot afford to live on the wages that are paid. Brainwashing the public to believe these people are scroungers and fakers and bludgers. People are freezing to death as they can no longer afford heating, food, medicine, NHS (medicare) under attack to be sold off, talk of no charging to see the dr. Tesco, Poundshare Marx and Spencers and many more supermarkets only take the free labour of workfare, no super, no tax credits, no sickness benefits or workers protections. Thatcher destroyed the Unions and now Cameron is destroying the working classes and the poor whilst selling off the jobs overseas. Sound familiar? Please share , this is the future if the Libs get any of their welfare reforms through, they are starting on the Indigenous of this country first, 25 hrs a week every week or get cut off, considering they take aboriginal children away for dirty clothes and charge the parents with neglect now, no matter how loved or well fed they are, a dirty shirt can cause the child to removed and the mother incarcerated for neglect.
