This is our life with our sweet Delilah, isnt it Bill Austin? Absolutely heartbreaking. We have known how fragile Type 1 can be since diagnosis, but learned just HOW FRAGILE their little lives are in July. We came too close to losing Delilah, a reality that didnt hit me until we had been back home for a while. Its something you push far far from your mind when you can, or when crisis hits. You fix the problems in front of you and try not to think about the complications. Like brain swelling, and a dropping blood pressure (not just blood sugar, but blood pressure). I hope for a cure, but I hope just as much for education so no parent has to lose their sweet child for not knowing the symptoms. ............. this video makes me want to go grab her from school and make her sit on the couch and snuggle with a good movie!
