This is part of whats known as the #SlowTV movement. Yes, its a real thing and gaining quite the traction in #European countries such as #Norway. Its also caught on in #Britain. In fact, a few 7 hour programs have broken viewership records there. The US will be trialing slow tv programs very soon. Most slow tv programs consist of trains traveling on a journey, to watching women knit, to YouTube hits like this. We are also familiar with slow tv at Christmas with the #yulelog. #Pharrell recently inadvertently made a slow tv program with his 24 hour music video of #Happy (#24HoursOfHappy). Ive been intrigued by this trend and despite the popular saying and the #WorldCup meme, I have yet to find a slow tv content of watching paint dry.
