This is pretty interesting, and ties well into my belief about the transition our country is going through right now, from the post-WWII suburban/exurban-dominated one to one where the sources of growth and wealth are going to be almost entirely in places with much greater density. The implications for virtually everything about our economy are pretty significant as we transition from an economy driven by larger-and-larger houses and more-and-more stuff to put in our houses (as George Carlin famously noted, houses are just covers for all our stuff), as well as vehicles to get to and from our houses, to something else.
