This is pretty neat- there is a contest here in Newburgh as part of a local community event, Newburgh Illuminated. For a donation, you are entered to be a character in one of best-selling author James Patterson’s upcoming novels. (Mr. Patterson is from Newburgh.) The book in which your character name will appear will be selected by Mr. Patterson. When available, you will be notified of the book title, and its publication date.
