Im not saying that all single moms are useless obviously but some are. Perhaps the worst of them are the ones that use their kids. If the dad is behind on child support, or theyre mad at him or whatever, their kids become a bargaining chip. These mothers wont let them see their dad because, quite frankly, theyre not mature enough to realize that they dont need to protect their children (at that point, theyre not viewed as children anymore but as pieces of property) from their father. Unless its very obvious, blatant abuse, these moms need to understand that their children are human beings and need BOTH parents, not just one. Not saying that all single moms are like this but not saying that all single fathers are deadbeats, either. Men do get the shaft, though. If a man wins custody of the children in court its always, He took her kids but the reality is, theyre every bit as much his kids, too.
