This is probably the safest labour seat in the former labour heartlands of central Scotland. This emphasises that the Yes vote wasnt a backing for the SNP - As many are trying to tell us just now, it was a Yes vote for social justice. If Yes votes were a vote for the SNP then they wouldmt have lost everyone of their heartlands. Only a pan-Yes candidate in 2015 can win in an area like this with a similar message of hope. I understand why many people are flocking to join the SNP, but there has to be some cooler heads crunching the numbers and analysing the facts. I understand that I never make myself popular by using reaon to swim against the tide, but popularity isnae the reason why I chose to get involved in trying to win independence. It was bettering my community and family that done that. Many of us will not vote SNP for a variety of reasons, criminalisiation of our identity, NATO, authoritarian laws, pro-bug business - take yir pick. If people are truly interested in pushing the independence agenda over pushing the SNPs agenda then common sense will prevail.
