This is seriously killing me but its what I am going to have to do. I rescued my sons dog, Seeka, from the pound about a month ago. When we rescued her, we knew we would probably have to rehome her due to her not doing well with other dogs. All things were going perfect, no fights. Some food aggression was observed but not anything that a timed feeding schedule and caution with treats could handle. Last week, Seeka and my alfa dog, BooBoo, decided to get into a fight. Its been a war ever since. These have caused a trip to the vet. I am keeping her until the PERFECT home comes along. Seeka is up to date on shots and spayed. She is a boxer mix on her vet papers. She is not microchipped and will need licensed. She is still licensed in Trumbull. Her teeth have increased tarter and will need monitored and cleaned. She needs a special food. Purina one Lamb and rice or she has some distress and lots of gas. She is already 6 yrs old (the vet papers say shes older but shes not) and amazing with people. She is a good listener. I recommend NO DOGS AT ALL! My cats do not run or mess with the dogs. She seems ok with them BUT she likes to try to chase the outdoor cats in my neighborhood so I do not know how she would do with other cats. She doesnt chew. My requirements: 1) A home with NO dogs. 2) I will do a home visit. 3) Vet references 4) A meet and greet with her and your whole household. 5) I need to know if you own or rent. 6) A signed notarized letter stating that for ANY reason, you will bring her back to me ie: losing home, not getting along with your animals, sick, not wanting her anymore etc. I DID NOT RESCUE HER TO HAVE HER BACK IN A CRAPPY SITUATION! Rehoming fee is negotiable.
