This is sick. I hope someone with compassion and common sense can step in and do the right thing. This is a perfect example of WHY everyone with pets needs to make it clear WHO is to take care of your pets in the event that you pass away. This poor dog is at a SHELTER , the dogs owner died, her life is upside down and confusing as it is...WHY wouldnt this woman stipulate for this pet to be cared for by someone or go to a rescue who can help her??? EUTH for ashes??? or BEST FRIENDS in UTAH?? Seriously...what about entrusting a local rescue or friend? THINK PEOPLE!!! Make plans for your beloved pets..and make it VERY CLEAR!!!! One thing that makes our rescue so special is that we stand by our babies forever, we always take them back if there is a need.
