This is so perfectly written! So perfectly! This afternoon I spent time with a family after their daughter was born today. They had less than an hour with her before she passed away. They are so heavy on my heart and in my prayers tonight and spending time with them was like seeing exactly what this post is about! Love. She is the little sister, has four older siblings who asked about her, a mom and dad who love her, grandparents who held her and cradled her. She is theirs as much as their other children who are well and safe in their beds at home tonight, and having portraits of her and their time with her is part of their family story and captures their love. I feel so honored to have the privilege to document that for them.
