This is so refreshing to know by all South Africans: 1) SAs GDP has tripled from $136bn in 1994 to $400bn in 2013. 2) SAs credit rating is better from BB in 1994 to BBB in 2013. 3) SAs average inflation is lower, 14% (1980 to 1984) to 6% (1994 to 2012). 4) Labour productivity has tripled from $8 800 to $25 600. 5) Most people have electricity now than back then in 1996, 58% to 85% in 2011. 6) Tax payers have grown eight fold from 1,7 in 1994 to 13,7 in 2013. Source: Goldman Sachs Report on SA. I love this country and its people. Inspite all other challenges we have, one cannot help but congradulate our government for a job well done. This is not politics, these are straight forward facts.
