This is so true. The Republicans and Democrats are managed by the same special interests. Their differences are largely superficial, the rhetoric is different, but in the actual management of the country, they are uncannily similar (They actually used to be two wings of the same party, for those who know their US history). Both parties enlarge the government in their various spheres. Dems with social programs, Rep. with military and police state expansion. Neither tend to repeal the previous works of the other without massive public outrage. The size of the government and the deficit has gone up for multiples of administration in a row. So what do we do? We have to start voting the alternative parties. At first it might seem like vote wasting. But as the momentum grows with your votes, these less compromised parties can start to challenge the establishment. It has happened before, and it can happen again.
