Has the love of Christians today grown cold? Are we just not able to fire up the boilers of love for our neighbors? If we loved our neighbors, we would pray for them, take an active interest in them, look out for their wellbeing, and take every opportunity to engage them in conversations about the Lord and His love. But when our love grows cold we don’t feel much inclined in these ways. And if – as seems everywhere apparent – we are not, in fact, inclined to love our neighbors as ourselves, then we need to track down the cause of this lack of love and take immediate steps to redress it.
