This is so wrong if they will try to sell Torahs to Shuls as kosher. I think this would be a great tool for teaching a new potential chazan how to read properly from a kosher Torah or a bar mitzvah student. Why I say this is I remember My Prep for my bar mitzvah. when we finally got the Torah out for me to see what to expect it became this shizzle just got real feeling. I spent and good part of about 12 months practicing. Why a year? I had a double portion. behar bechukotai I did the whole bar mitzvah. A chazan lead the beginning as usual and I took over from there till the very end. Anyway my point NOT A KOSHER TORAH. USUR, not ok NO NO NO!!! A great tool for teaching sure why not but dont cheat. Anyone have thoughts about having it for practice? I already know what the law says so I dont need a confirmation about it being kosher. Im aware it is not. Shabbat shalom and look forward to hear about opinions. If someone else has another suggestion for the Torah feel free.
