This is something UAH does on a regular basis. I would like for us to be this way, but a point thats failing to be understood is that JSU as a campus doesnt have the space or supplies to provide such a thing. JSU isnt a tech-savvy or student free place in the same sense. Even if we get professor permissions to use a room, there is literally no good proper way to do so, because they have their shitty computers in all the lab rooms. We cant just permanently claim a room as a gaming room for such a gig as they do. The JSU fan club group had a gaming event recently, but they just bring a TV and a console in, easy peasy. For us to utilize a room in the sense of this picture would require setting up our own LAN, which cant happen in a classroom because JSU has a dick up their asses about tampering with their computer procedures and security settings. Im going to speak to Dr. Thornton still, but dont expect anything too hot.
