This is soooooooooooo not ok. This rabbits tonic Immobility, often referred to as Trancing or Hypnotising is WHY s/he is allowing and not freaking out in water. Tonic immobility (TI) is a transitory and reversible state of profound motor inhibition that can be induced in susceptible species (Klemm 1976).. Recently trancing has come to the forefront of debates after an innocent nail trim turned deadly thx to the pet parent trancing - the rabbit died from a HEART ATTACK. Bunnies are one of natures TWO species that can be literally scared to death .Trancing - causes the rabbit to feel extremely scared while pretending to be dead. Rabbits being a prey species will naturally act dead if threatened. Their heart rate increases along with their stress hormone levels (corticosterone). This has been scientifically researched and the decision is NOT OUT ON TRANCING...................it is very much in - TRANCING IS VERY CRUEL, very HARMFUL and not at all a funny thing to show off with your pet rabbit NOR is it fun for anybunny either. THIS video SUCKS and exhibits CRUELTY to anyone that knows and loves bunnies.
