This is sort of a wording question and partially legal jargon too (for my book) but wonder... There must be a term or word used for this type of situation: XYZ company is being sued for personal injury over a product. Judge A decided in favor of the plaintiff Judge B decides in favor of the defendant Two different cases, could be in two different states and unknown to one another but the circumstances are the same yet the judges rule differently. What is that called besides a flip-flop in decision making? Thanks!
