This is such an excellent review of a decidedly non Christian movie. Aside from all of the theological and doctrinal issues misrepresented (or just completely left out) of the Left Behind books and the movies from the 90s, this new movie is Hollywoods attempt to craft a political/social intrigue action flick that appeals to evangelical audiences without actually saying ANYTHING about the faith upon which it is supposedly based. Like the books themselves, it is a shallow interpretation of an endlessly deep faith. A good read if youre thinking about setting the movie, and certainly worth reading before you endorse it as a Christian movie in your churches, youth groups, etc.
