This is the Fox & Grapes, just outside Barwick in Elmet. I was reminded of this on another forum. Im just interested in the go kart track that is clearly visible even now. I worked at the pub in the nineties before it was renovated and turned into a loony bin, sorry, I mean a Charlie chalks. There were still a lot of loose asphalt sections of the track left back then, quite regularly wed turn in to the track off kiddal lane and have a bit of fun before starting a shift behind the bar! Ive never seen any images of the track in its prime. Anyone out there got any tales or info about the place?
