This is the beautiful Christmas card I received this year from an adopter. She had lost a very precious pet and was so reluctant to open her heart again. But Tinkerbell, an 8 yr old pom whom she later named Daisy, won her heart. She adopted her Valentines Day 2014. During the time they were together, Daisy became a therapy dog visiting nursing homes bringing much comfort. Then Daisy had the hardest job of all...helping her new mom get through brain cancer. Mom got better but then Daisy had her own battle with cancer. On January 7, 2015, Daisy crossed the rainbow bridge in the loving arms of the woman who gave her safety, comfort and purpose for the last 11 months of her life.
