This is the day that The Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! For I know the plans I have for you declare The Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. What an awesome God we serve. As I ponder the blessings in my life, my relationship with Jesus Christ is the one that stands out. Without that nothing else would be the same. God has blessed me in so many ways, none of which I deserve. I saw a dear old friend yesterday and was reminded just how precious and how fleeting life is. We spoke about the choice we have in how we respond to the difficulties we all have in life. None of escapes this life without pain and suffering. Its how we respond to these inevitable challenges that makes the difference. We can allow the hardships of life to make us bitter or, we can choose to grow from them. I am so thankful that God took the ashes of my life and made a new creation out of them. I am undeserving, but He loves me anyway. I still mess up everyday, but My God loves me anyway. I have come to understand that I am a beloved daughter of the King and there is nothing I can do to make Him love me less. I am still a work in progress. Thank You Lord for loving me and for the blessings in my life as well as the hardships. I know the hardships are the tools You use to mold me into the woman you have called me to be. Help never to lose sight of that, especially when I am in the midst of them. I love You Lord.
