This is the email I just sent to Budget Inns Corporate officers Sir/Madam, I am a parent of a disabled child, a military professional and a veteran. I also has regular a user of your services. I just read the story (click on story link below) of how someone representing your business treated a veteran with a service animal. After reading, I contacted a couple of your hotels near my home and discovered this is not uncommon. tpnn/2014/06/26/video-hotel-desk-clerk-refuses-to-serve-veteran-and-calls-the-police-you-wont-believe-why/ I think you owe Former Army Sgt. Robert Price a huge very public apology this inexcusable event. You also need to change your policy on service dogs and allow them to service their owners in your hotels. I will tell you right now, that I will not use your hotel in the future (unless you publicly change your policies). If you can’t support the handicapped or the Veterans who have service animals. I can’t allow any of my hard earned funds to be used to support your business. I understand that my one comment or business may not mean much, but, I am sharing this with my military and parenting networks and asking them to do the same thing.
