This is the first half of the hike in Skagway Alaska For one our excursions in Skagway Alaska, we decided to do a hike through a old growth rain forest. The first portion of the video consists of an area where the trees have been cut down within the last 20 or so years. However, most of the video consists of the old growth rain forest that has never been cut down even to this day. Its a beautiful area to be in. During one part of the hike, I was fortunate enough to attempt to dunk my head in freezing cold river but I ended up soaking the entire front of my body by accident. I thought I recorded it on my GoPro but apparently I didnt have it facing the right direction. Anyways, here is the first part of the footage from the hike. We had two guides on the excursion. I wish I had of left my camera on during the parts where the two guides were talking and explaining stuff through out the hike. It was really interesting to hear.
