This is the first model I have built in quite a few years. Its the new tooled Airfix Mig 15 (from the Airfix Club boxing that also includes an F86 Sabre) and the decals are from RV Resins. Paint is Floquil Old Silver, and I applied an india ink wash. I still need to mask and paint the canopy, paint and install the drop tanks, and install the airbrake actuators, then I can call it done. The Airfix kit is a nice little model, it fit together very well. I did botch one seam on the nose a little bit... :( Next one will be better. The RV Resin decal sheet has 19 options to pick from, so this wont be my last Mig 15 by a long shot... In fact, I just started putting a second one together.
