This is the high school I attended. Theyre not having school social events anymore because kids rather play with their cell phones. This means kids dont even have parties anymore, or know how to put together and run an event. Thats messed up. Were raising a generation of sociopaths. I think until your kid graduates from high school you should limit their cell phone use. When I was a kid you could maybe talk on the phone for thirty minutes to a hour at the most, and only at a decent hour. And at my brothers school--Deerfield Academy--students can only use their cell phones in certain areas and at certain times. I imagine more and more were going to see people actually putting on their resumes that they have face-to-face communication skills, because most people will not.
