This is the kind of pictures that fill our hearts with joy... This is why we do what we do, around rescuing a dog, there are many things, a lot of problems, being dirty almost all the time, clean, feed, be worried about the resources to give all what they need, visit the vet, deal with people who dont care about dogs or anything, spend time posting videos and pics, answer messages, phone calls, visit the possible adopters, etc. But at the end of the day, when we see these kind of pictures, when we know that at least one dog among thousands that are still out there on the streets, the dog pounds, shelters, or being mistreated by their owners, gets to find his own family, his own home, when he gets to find the love, care and joy for the rest of his life, like Charlie did today, reminds us why this is so important. Our work never ends, we still need to find homes for almost 300 dogs, but tonight we are happy for Charlie and his new family... Good luck little guy, it was my pleasure to have being a little part of your life :) Ver estas fotos, no tienen idea como me llenan de alegría la neta. Por esto hacemos lo que hacemos... Alrededor de rescatar a un perro hay miles de factores, que son problemas, ensuciarse, desvelarse, preocuparse, ocuparse, visitas al vet, lidiar y aguantar gente mal intencionada y mal vibrosa, pasar tiempo en internet publicando fotos, videos, contestar mensajes, llamadas de telefono, visitar candidatos de adopcion, etc, etc, etc... Pero al final del día, ver que al menos uno, entre cientos de miles de perros que están en la calle, en las perreras, albergues, en casas donde los maltratan, etc. Al menos uno de vez en cuando encuentra el camino a casa, encuentra amigos, cuidados, encuentra a su familia, con la que compartirá miles de momentos bien chidos. Aunque hay miles sufriendo allá afuera, aunque aun me espera la tarea de encontrarle casa a mas de 280 perros que he rescatado, me quedo al menos esta noche, con esta imagen en la cabeza... Buena suerte Charlie! Un placer haber sido una pequeña parte de tu vida.
