This is the last song Ill post for now. As the closing track of The Resistance storyline, this song had a lot of requirements it needed to fill in my eyes to be a suitable finale. It definitely succeeded. Not only is this one of CTEs most anthemic tracks yet (Rise! Rise! Rah-rah-rise!) its also one of their strongest written songs. The first 40 seconds of the song were driven by military drums, ominous movie-score style strings and Andy Leos powerful voice before that progressed into a thunderous verse with Dave delivering his best performance of his career and then into a massive chorus with Andy reaching some of his most effective notes and melodies. Its the aforementioned anthem portion of the song that Dave screams that really takes the cake for me though, and the super feely bridge that Andy sings is the icing on the cake. Once I heard a song like this, I became extremely excited for Crown The Empires future. What a massive song!
